About the Artist
I am Maryna Drandijski – mathematician, educator, and artist.
In my professional life, I navigate a world of structures and logic. But art is the place where I capture the unpredictable. With roots in Kyiv and my home now in Vienna, I have found my universal form of expression in painting.
Why „Golden Sea“?
Because for me, it is about capturing that specific, fleeting moment when the light hits the water or the landscape, transforming an ordinary scene into something precious. As a mother and an academic, painting is my sanctuary – a space where I don’t calculate, but feel. I invite you to share these moments of warmth and harmony.
